The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has officially released the results for the written examination aimed at the direct recruitment of Sub-Inspectors (Civil Police) and similar positions for the year 2025. Candidates who participated in the UP Police SI written examination can check their results and cutoff scores by visiting the official website, uppbpb.gov.in.

Candidates Qualified for Next Stages

A total of 12,333 candidates have been deemed eligible for the subsequent phases of the recruitment process based on their performance in the written examination. This number is approximately 2.7 times the total vacancies advertised and includes all candidates who achieved the cutoff score.

Upcoming Document Verification and Physical Standards Test

The Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standards Test (PST) for those who qualified is tentatively set for the third week of May. Additionally, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is scheduled for June 2026. The Recruitment Board will provide detailed information regarding the venue, date, and time on their website soon.

For the Women Sub-Inspectors (Civil Police/PC) in the Women's Battalion, the cutoff for female candidates in the Unreserved category under the 'Dependents of Freedom Fighters' class is 266.40593, while for those in the 'Ex-Servicemen' class, it is 223.48777.

Result Status Messages

Candidates can check their results by visiting the link on the Board's website, uppbpb.gov.in, and entering their registration number and date of birth. The following four statuses may appear in the results:

• "Congratulations! You are short-listed for DV/PST." – Eligible for Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST).
• "Sorry! You are not short-listed for DV/PST." - Not eligible due to scoring below the cutoff marks.
• "Sorry! You have not qualified in the written test." – Disqualified for not meeting the minimum normalized marks: 35% in each subject/session and 50% in aggregate.
• "You were absent in the written test." – Did not attend the examination.

Final Answer Key Released

The UPPRPB has also published the final answer key along with the results. Candidates can download their final answer keys until May 14.
