A very special sight was seen today in the peaceful valleys of Uttarakhand and the holy land of Yamkeshwar. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami were seen together. The occasion was the laying of the foundation stone of development projects in Yamkeshwar and the Mahayagya organized in Chief Minister Yogi’s native village Panchur. This tour was not only political but also spiritual and emotional, where the ‘two sons of the mountain’ were seen connected to their roots and standing together for the development of the region.
Actually, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had reached his native village Panchur, where he participated in Shri Vishnu Mahayagya. Reaching the village soil, Yogi not only spent time with his family and villagers but also took part in the spiritual rituals. During this, he refreshed old memories and expressed satisfaction over the construction of the temple in the village.
Paid obeisance at Shiva temple, spiritual gathering took place in ancestral village
The program started with both the Chief Ministers offering prayers at the ancient Shiva temple of Yamkeshwar. When Yogi Adityanath reached his village Panchur after taking blessings of Mahadev, the atmosphere became emotional. Chief Minister Yogi said that three years ago there was only reverence here, but today a grand temple stands. Giving the mantra of success to the youth, he said that one should always have a ‘positive attitude’ to progress in life. According to him, the biggest source of positive energy is devotion to God.
Bithyani College got the gift of ‘Adarsh College’
During Yamkeshwar visit, a new wave of development was seen in Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Government College located in Bithyani. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced to develop this college as ‘Adarsh College’. Besides, a gift of mini stadium was also given to the youth of the area. CM Dhami stressed that his government is committed to providing global level education and modern sports facilities to the youth.
When two Chief Ministers met AI bots
The most interesting part of this visit was when both the Chief Ministers came face to face with technology. New AI based website was inaugurated in the college. It is being told that Yogi Adityanath himself interacted with the AI bot and asked questions about the college examination system. At the same time, CM Dhami took information from AI on issues like student number and skill development. This shows that efforts to make education digital have intensified even in remote areas of Uttarakhand.
The list of development works did not stop here. The new building and seminar hall of the college were also inaugurated. Also, the book ‘Developed India Ek Sankalp’ was released, which will become a guide for the students in the times to come.
Message of exercise and fitness in open gym
Both the Chief Ministers laid emphasis not only on studies but also on health. Yogi and Dhami themselves exercised while inaugurating the newly constructed open gym in the college campus. While trying out the gym equipment, he gave the message that it is very important for the youth to remain fit for a strong nation. After this, after inspecting the land of the proposed stadium, he instructed the officials to complete the work soon.
Many senior leaders including Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj, Dhan Singh Rawat and former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat were present in the program. This day was also memorable for the people of Yamkeshwar because on one hand their own village’s son (Yogi Adityanath) is leading the country’s largest state, while on the other hand young Chief Minister Dhami is taking the state to new heights.
