New Delhi: Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 100th Saudi Pro League Goal as AI Nassr defeated Al-Shabab 4-2 on Thursday, May 7. They have surged 5 points clear in the league table and are placed at the top with 82 points from 32 Games.

The 41- year- old converted a Sadio Mane’s cross at a near post with 15 minutes left in the match, marking his 971st career goal and 26th in the ongoing Season.

Joao Felix, who was signed from Chelsea, netted a hat-trick for the league leaders. After the match, Al Nassr’s head coach said that they have a derby game against their rivals and are fully aware of its importance.

“Now we have a derby match against our rival, which is a difficult encounter. We are fully aware of its importance, and we are dealing with it with complete focus as we know that small details could decide the result,” Jorge Jesus said.

Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, has yet to win a major trophy in Saudi Arabia since signing with Al-Nassr in December 2022.
