- Kuwait-Saudi Railway: This will be a 650 kilometer long line that will connect Kuwait City to Riyadh. The target is to complete it by 2028, which will reduce the travel time to just two hours.
- GCC Railway Network: Work is underway to connect Kuwait to the entire Gulf Cooperation Council network, which is to be completed by 2030.

This plant will have the capacity to clean one million cubic meters of water daily.
