Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann visited Patti in Tarn Taran during the ongoing ‘Shukrana Yatra’, where he interacted with local representatives, including Panchs, Sarpanchs, and members associated with committees focused on the respect of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib. The gathering was attended by residents and community representatives who participated in discussions linked to recent legislative developments and public concerns.
During the interaction, community members expressed support for the state government’s recently discussed strict measures aimed at addressing incidents of sacrilege. Mann stated that the government remains committed to protecting religious sentiments and maintaining peace and social harmony in Punjab. He also acknowledged the cooperation and participation of local groups and residents during the outreach programme.
The Shukrana Yatra continues to travel across different districts of Punjab, combining public interaction with discussions around governance, cultural matters, and religious issues.
