Haryana Minister Krishan Lal Panwar Road Accident: Krishna Lal Panwar, cabinet minister in the Naib Saini government of Haryana, became the victim of a major road accident on Friday. Their convoy suddenly collided with each other near Aldico City on GT Road, Panipat. The accident was so severe that the front part of the minister’s official Innova car was completely damaged.

Immediately after the accident, the security personnel took the minister out of the car and took him to Panipat Civil Hospital for treatment. According to initial information, his condition is currently stable. He has not suffered serious injuries.

When and how did the accident happen?

According to the information, Krishna Lal Panwar was returning from Chandigarh to Panipat. At around 4 pm his convoy reached in front of the toll plaza near Aldico City. Eyewitnesses say that a vehicle running ahead of the convoy suddenly applied emergency brakes. After this, the pilot vehicle running behind also applied brakes rapidly, due to which 3 to 4 vehicles, including the minister’s vehicle coming behind, collided one after the other.

Administrative staff immediately reached the hospital

The collision was so strong that the front part of the minister’s Innova was badly damaged. There was an atmosphere of chaos on the road for some time. As soon as the news of the minister’s accident was received, the administrative staff immediately reached the hospital. Panipat MLA Pramod Vij, DC Virendra Dahiya and SP Bhupendra Singh also reached the Civil Hospital to take stock of the situation. A crowd of BJP workers and supporters gathered outside the hospital. The team of doctors remained busy examining the health of the minister.

Had knee surgery in December

It is being told that Krishna Lal Panwar’s left knee surgery was done at Fortis Hospital in Mohali in December 2025. For this reason, in recent months he had started using Innova instead of Fortuner for his travels.

Who is Krishna Lal Panwar?

• Krishna Lal Panwar is considered a big Dalit face of Haryana politics. He is currently handling the responsibility of Panchayat and Development Department as well as Mines and Geology Department.
• Panwar’s political journey has been more than three decades long. He won the assembly elections for the first time in 1991 from Assandh seat on INLD ticket. After this he became MLA several times.
• Krishna Lal Panwar joined BJP in 2014 and won the election from Israna seat and became a minister in the Manohar Lal Khattar government.
• After losing the elections in 2019, BJP sent him to Rajya Sabha, but before the 2024 elections, he resigned and contested the assembly elections again and won. After this he was made a cabinet minister in the Naib Saini government.
• In political circles, Krishna Lal Panwar is considered very close to former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
