The final decision regarding the name of the new Chief Minister of the state has been taken during the meeting of the BJP Legislature Party in West Bengal. Senior BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari was elected the leader of the legislature party in the meeting. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was present in this important meeting as a central observer. During his speech, Amit Shah reiterated his and BJP's old promises to the people of Bengal.
