Suvendu Adhikari Oath Ceremony: Suvendu Adhikari is going to take oath as the first BJP Chief Minister of West Bengal. He has promised to investigate the RG tax case, take strict action against corruption and make 'Sonar Bangla'. Amit Shah also launched a scathing attack on the opposition.

After the historic victory of Bharatiya Janata Party, now Suvendu Adhikari is going to take oath as the new Chief Minister of the state. Before the swearing-in ceremony to be held on Saturday, Subhendu Adhikari has made it clear that his government's focus will be more on work than speeches.

He said that his priority would be law and order, action against corruption and fulfilling the dreams of the workers who fought for the party during the elections. Besides, it has also been announced to constitute a special commission to investigate the famous RG tax case.

“Less speeches, more work” will be the focus of the government

Suvendu Adhikari said that his government will not be limited to mere announcements, but will insist on completing the work within the stipulated time frame. He said, "I will fulfill the dreams of BJP workers who sacrificed their lives for the party. We all will work together to make West Bengal 'Sonar Bangla'." He assured that all the promises made in the election manifesto will be implemented in a time bound manner.

Commission will be formed to investigate RG tax case

Before taking oath as Chief Minister, Subhendu Adhikari gave a big statement regarding the RG tax issue. He said that a special commission would be constituted to investigate the matter and strict action would be ensured against the culprits.

Apart from this, it has also been announced to form a commission of retired judges to investigate cases related to corruption and embezzlement of government funds. He says that no person involved in corruption will be spared.

Amit Shah targeted Congress and Mamta government

Addressing the BJP Legislature Party meeting, Amit Shah said that this time the people of West Bengal got a chance to express their opinion in a fear-free environment. Taking aim at Congress, he said that after continuous defeat in many states, Congress is now raising questions on the election process. Shah said that after losing the elections, efforts are being made to hide the defeat by making allegations like EVM and vote theft. He also said that self-evaluation and discipline are very important in politics.

Also took a dig at Mamata Banerjee

Attacking Mamata Banerjee, Amit Shah claimed that Trinamool Congress could not even open its account in many districts of the state. He described BJP's victory in Bengal as important for the politics of entire eastern India.

Political analysts believe that the formation of BJP government in West Bengal will be considered a big change in the politics of the state. After the dominance of Trinamool Congress for a long time, the change in power has now created new political equations.
