Extends its support to ensure that BJP does not enter through “backdoor”
Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu CPI(M) secretary Shanmugam said the parties have extended their support to prevent delay in government formation in the state, or the imposition of President’s rule, and ensure that it does not happen. So that BJP cannot enter “through the back door”. VCK has also said that they will take the same decision as CPI and CPI(M). VCK is also extending its support to TVK. CPI(M) State Secretary further said that soon, VCK leaders will come and tell this to all of you. In the assembly elections, no party has got absolute majority. It is necessary to form a government, and there is a situation of pressure to form the government by the 10th. Joseph Vijay has written a letter to both the parties. Because if the government is not formed by the 10th, President’s rule will be imposed and BJP is trying to enter Tamil Nadu through the backdoor.
We will not join the cabinet
Therefore, to stop this, CPI and CPI(M) have decided to support TVK, he said. He further said that the parties will not join the cabinet and that they have given this support to ensure that elections are not held again in the state. “We will not be joining the cabinet. Just to ensure that re-polls are not held, we have taken this decision,” he said. The parties also confirmed that the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK), which is currently holding an executive meeting in this regard, will take the same decision and will support the TVK in forming the government. The CPI (M), in an official letter, extended its “support” to the TVK for the aim of forming the government in the state, while the CPI has extended its support to the Vijay-led party. Gave “conditional support” in favor of “stable, secular and democratic governance for the people of Tamil Nadu”.
