Queen Camilla was all smiles today as she stepped out to attend the Badminton Horse Trials. Her Majesty, who was spotted at The Badminton Estate in Gloucestershire on Friday, surprised royal fans by stepping out in an outfit she would not usually wear.

While the Queen usually wears frocks and dresses, she changed up her wardrobe today. Her Majesty instead went for a suit look, wearing trousers, a white shirt and a blazer, to the event.

Instead of her usually heeled shoes, King Charles' wife wore navy lace-up flat shoes.

Although this look is very different to her usual attire, royal fans have addressed Queen Camilla's fashion today online.

On X, royal fans seem to approve of the change in style, with many praising the outfit which one fan said may "be controversial to some".

One person wrote: "I like it. It's a nice change."

Someone else said: "I love it! It's practical for the event she's attending. She still looks great."

Another fan commented: "It looks comfy to me - comfort first!"

Someone else wrote: "Looks like the perfect outfit for an outdoor sports event to me."

While many were complimentary of Her Majesty's outfit, some people online couldn't help but point out some minor tweaks the Queen could have made to her look today.

One person advised: "I love it! I, personally, would add some color somehow (scarf, maybe even tied in the purse...or statement necklace, which QC does well)...but it's smart and polished."

Someone else suggested: "I love it actually! Would've just added a scarf maybe, but it looks great to me even like this!"
