Keeping in mind the convenience of thousands of passengers commuting between Delhi and Faridabad every day, the Central Government has given its approval to start a new Mainline Electric Multiple Unit (MEMU) rail service. The demand for this new MEMU rail service was made by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, on which Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav seriously considered and gave the green signal to this project.
