On this special occasion, we are going to tell you about a mother-daughter pair who have played international cricket. This pair created history by playing international cricket for the same country in different generations. This is the story of Australia's star all-rounder Kim Garth and her mother Anne-Marie Garth.

International debut at the age of 14

Kim Garth made her international debut for the Ireland women's team at the age of just 14. At that time she became the youngest player in the world to play T20 International cricket. For Ireland, Kim scored 448 runs in 34 ODI matches and took 23 wickets. In 51 T20 International matches, he scored 762 runs and also took 42 wickets. Due to which, in February 2021, she also got the title of Best Irish Female Cricketer of the Decade.

But in 2020, Kim turned his attention towards Australia. He signed a contract with Cricket Victoria and after hard work made a place in the Australian national team in 2022. Now she is playing for the Kangaroo team in all three formats and is counted among the best all-rounders in the world.

Mother also played international cricketer

Kim's mother Anne-Marie Garth has also played for the Ireland women's team. He played 12 ODI matches during 1988–89, in which he took 6 wickets and scored 14 runs. Cricket is not limited to just Kim and her mother. His father Jonathan Garth has also played for Ireland. Both brothers are also associated with cricket. That means the entire family is contributing on the cricket field.
