Actress Charlize Theron is set to collaborate once again with filmmaker Baltasar Kormakur for an upcoming action thriller named Six Clean Kills.

This new venture is being developed under the banner of Universal Pictures, with Kormakur taking on the roles of director and producer. Theron will also produce the film and is anticipated to take on a leading role.

While specific details about the storyline remain undisclosed, the screenplay is penned by Stan Parish, who is adapting it from his unpublished novel of the same title.

This partnership follows the successful release of Apex, a survival-action thriller that featured Theron alongside Taron Egerton. The film saw impressive viewership on Netflix after its debut on April 24, maintaining strong audience engagement into its second week.

Sources indicate that the idea for this project began to materialize last year, shortly after Theron and Kormakur wrapped up their work on Apex.

Kormakur has a reputation for directing films like 101 Reykjavik, Jar City, and Everest, often focusing on themes of survival and emotional resilience in challenging environments.
