UGC NET June 2026 Registration: National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued important instructions for the candidates applying for UGC NET June 2026 examination. The agency has made it clear that candidates should be extremely careful while filling the application form, because if there is a mistake in subject selection and personal details, there will be no chance for correction later. In such a situation, candidates have been advised to check the complete information carefully before filling the form.
UGC NET June 2026: What will happen if more than one application is made?
According to the advisory issued by NTA, any candidate will have to submit only one application form for UGC NET June 2026. If a candidate fills more than one form, whether for the same subject or for different subjects, all such applications may be treated as invalid. The agency has clarified that in case of multiple applications, only the last submitted application form will be considered valid, while all previously filled forms will be automatically rejected. This may cause problems for the candidates in the examination process.
UGC NET June 2026: Facility for correction in subject selection will not be available.
NTA has also advised the candidates to choose the subject very thoughtfully while applying. Change of subject will not be allowed once the form is submitted. In such a situation, candidates will have to choose the same subject in which they have done post graduation. The agency has said that all the information filled in the application form, such as name, date of birth, category, educational qualification and examination subject should be completely correct and certified.
UGC NET June 2026: When can you register?
The online application process for UGC NET June 2026 has started from 29 April 2026. Interested candidates can apply till 20 May 2026. The examination will be conducted from June 22 to June 30, 2026. Candidates can complete the application process by visiting the official website. This time the examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for 85 subjects.
