On May 9th at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, Rajasthan Royals will play in their unique all-pink kit against Gujarat Titans during IPL 2026. The fixture is a significant one for the play-off race as both teams are neck-and-neck on points and will be level on 12 points by the time the match begins.
This game also marks the completion of their third annual 'Pink Promise Match' where the Royals bring their social impact initiatives together with the game.
What is Pink Promise?
The Royals Rajasthan Foundation is all about supporting women-led development and solar-powered villages across Rajasthan. Through this campaign, the club intends for sustainable development through women-led programs and solar power in underprivileged areas of Rajasthan.
The franchise promotes their tagline, "Aurat Hai Toh Bharat Hai" that showcases the integral role of women in community development. This campaign has evolved beyond cricket over time into a broader cause.
The pink shirt is worn at the match to complement the cause, however for the second year running, the shirt also has a solar element in it to represent the clean energy that the franchise is helping promote and provide across Rajasthan.

A High-Stakes Encounter with Gujarat Titans
This contest also carries a high degree of playoff relevance. Both sides are battling for a place in the top four positions of the IPL 2026 standings. A victory here could allow either side to ascend the league table with momentum being on their side.
Rajasthan Royals are not out of the equation but need consistency in their remaining matches. Out of the remaining four matches, Rajasthan will atleast need 3 wins for better qualification chances.
The Gujarat Titans team skippered by Shubman Gill also have a possibility of leaping over Rajasthan with this win, piling on extra pressure and making this encounter as one of the key games of the weekend.
This contest also has the play-off hype added along with Rajasthan Royals' tradition of merging sport with social messages. The Pink Promise Match is now a part of Rajasthan Royals' identity in the IPL.
