Casualty fans will be eagerly anticipating their next dose of the beloved BBC medical drama this Saturday.
The iconic series, which has graced television screens since 1986, typically broadcasts on Saturday evenings on BBC One, with episodes also available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
Casualty's current series, Lethal Legacy, airs its third of 12 episodes tonight, 9 May, with the new season bringing a host of fresh storylines to the fore.
The forthcoming episode will see Matty Linlaker, portrayed by Aron Julius, put his career on the line for Stevie Nash, played by Elinor Lawless. The pair have been struggling in the aftermath of new resident doctor Kim Chang's death following her battle with an eating disorder in the previous series.
In recent scenes, the two have embarked on an unexpected romance, which fans have already predicted is heading for heartbreak, given that both are still coming to terms with Kim's passing.

Gwion Morris Jones will play Rory Dickson, Christopher Timothy will play Alan Gibson, Eileen O'Brien will play Beryl Rice, Bethzienna Williams will play Emilia Gold, Adam Loxley will play Gary Thornley, Calin Bleau will play Bohdan Grgic, Desi Ivanova will play Mira Grgic and Ava Isobel Hicklin will play Abigail Clarkson.
Viewers are likely to recognise several of the guest stars, as Christopher Timothy, who portrays Alan Gibson, boasts an impressive television career. Christopher, 85, is perhaps best known for his role as James Herriot in All Creatures Great and Small, Mac McGuire in Doctors and Ted Murray in EastEnders. He also provided the voiceover for The Yorkshire Vet from 2015 to 2023.
Eileen O'Brien, who takes on the role of Beryl Rice, will also be a familiar face to many viewers. Eileen, 80, is widely recognised for her work on Emmerdale, where she played Beattie Dixon in 2013, having previously appeared on the ITV soap as teacher Bridget Burgess from 2006 to 2007.
Further soap credits include the role of Edie Smith, mother of Mary Smith, on EastEnders from 1987 to 1988. In 2013, she took on the part of Rita in the BBC comedy-drama Being Eileen.
Meanwhile, Gwion Morris Jones, who portrays Rory Dickson, is well known for playing Eddie Bevan in Under Salt Marsh. His additional credits include appearances in both Torchwood and Doctor Who.
