Points, perks and 'members-only' discounts are everywhere, but the public has their favourites. The best high street loyalty schemes of 2026 have been revealed, and they range from supermarket savings and high street restaurants to electronics and beauty discounts.

Researchers and retail experts Hyperfinity asked over 2,200 UK customers about their favourite loyalty schemes. Each of the 51 loyalty schemes included was then scored out of ten and listed in order of overall success.

In the first set of questions, they were asked about how satisfied they were with the loyalty programme, how likely they were to recommend it to a friend, how the programme affects their decision to shop with that retailer, and how likely they are to continue shopping with that retailer over the next year.

The second set of questions sought to understand what drives customer loyalty, asking shoppers about appealing awards, how they feel valued and if they feel the company responsibly handles their personal information.

In the top spot was Tesco's Clubcard with a strong score of 8.38. For every 100 Clubcard points earned, customers get £1 to spend in store or £2 to spend with partners. Points can be spent on a variety of things like shopping, fuel, clothing or with partners Disney+, restaurants, days out and travel.

Fans described the Clubcard as a "very generous programme with plenty of options to redeem" and as making their shopping experience "affordable and easy".

In second place was Leon's Leon Club scheme. Members earn free items after reaching 3,000 points, with customers explaining that it is "quicker and cheaper to build up rewards compared to other schemes". Others said that it was very easy to use and has great perks.

The third UK favourite was Pret's scheme, with customers earning a star each time they spend and receiving a perk once they earn 10. Fans of Pret's scheme said that the app was "really easy to use" and "matched their needs".
