Isha Ambani’s 2026 Met Gala look is already trending because of her gold sari, sculpted gajra, and steel “mango” accessory. Now, a cute and funny video featuring a sweet moment about her twins, Krishna and Aadiya, is also winning hearts online. In the clip, Isha opens up about her children in a heartwarming interaction.

What did Isha Ambani say about Krishna and Aadiya?

On the red carpet, the hosts asked Isha about her twins. She laughed and said that Aadiya and Krishna were in the hotel room watching her get ready for the Met Gala. They kept insisting they wanted to come with her to the event. Isha jokingly asked them, “Are you sure you won’t cry if I go to the party?” The kids honestly replied, “No, we will.” Laughing, Isha added that she immediately said, “Oh no, then you’re not coming again…” and left them back at the hotel. This simple, playful exchange is what people are finding very cute and funny on social media.

What was Isha Ambani’s Met Gala 2026 look?

For the Met Gala 2026, Isha wore a custom gold sari by designer Gaurav Gupta. The sari was made from handwoven gold tissue with hand‑painted borders inspired by traditional Pichwai art. The blouse was literally built out of jewels, over 1,800 carats of diamonds, emeralds and kundan pieces from the Ambani family collection, assembled by Indian artisans.   She also wore an intricate jasmine/gajra hair sculpture, a modern take on the traditional mogra gajra, created by Brooklyn‑based artist Sourabh Gupta. This piece took around 150 hours to make using paper, copper and brass, turning a simple hair adornment into a sculptural artwork.

Why was Isha Ambani holding a mango at the Met Gala 2026?

The much‑discussed “mango” in her hand was not a real fruit, but an art piece by renowned Indian artist Subodh Gupta. It is made of metal (steel/bronze) and functions as both an accessory and a sculpture. The mango symbolises Indian identity, memory and heritage, tying in with the Met Gala’s art‑meets-fashion theme. Because of this, people online are calling it the “most talked-about mango” of the year.

Why Isha Ambani’s jewellery at Met Gala 2026 became the major talking point?

Isha completed her look with heavy diamond and emerald jewellery, all taken from Nita Ambani’s personal collection. Her blouse alone included over 1,000 diamonds and precious stones, totalling about 1,800 carats. Her statement necklaces featured old mine‑cut diamonds and a large central emerald (around 50 carats) from jewellery designer Lorraine Schwartz, all integrated into Nita Ambani’s heirloom pieces. In another viral clip, Isha adorably points at each piece and keeps saying “Mom, mom, mom”, explaining that every jewel she’s wearing belongs to her mother. Together with the sari, gajra and mango, this jewellery gave her entire Met Gala 2026 look a royal yet deeply personal touch.
