Singer Suchitra has spoken out against actress Trisha Krishnan amid her rumoured relationship with actor turned politician Thalapathy Vijay. In a recent interview, Suchitra made it clear that while she likes Vijay, she does not like Trisha at all. She even indirectly called Trisha a parasite, suggesting she is only around Vijay because of his political success. Here is what she said:

In a recent interview, singer Suchitra said she does not like Trisha at all, even though she likes Vijay very much. “I don’t like Trisha at all. I will tell this objectively and will not let it colour my judgment. I like Vijay very much. I will give my opinion honestly without taking sides,” Suchitra said, as quoted by Firstpost.

“Parasites tend to enter the lives of successful people when they become isolated. Vijay has isolated himself by distancing himself from his parents and wife. He is alone but has done no soul-searching till now. Amidst this, he has come into politics; to be honest about it he needs his father Chandrashekhar who may steer him through political waters otherwise he would achieve nothing in politics because if any good things can happen to him in politics they should be supported by his father,” the singer added.

Trisha and Thalapathy Vijay have worked together in several hit films like Ghilli, Thirupaachi, Aathi, and Kuruvi. After Kuruvi, they did not work together for many years, but later reunited on screen in Leo (2023), which surprised and excited fans. Trisha was spotted visiting Vijay’s home in Chennai on the day his party TVK celebrated its election victory. The visit also happened to fall on her birthday, which led many fans call her his lucky charm. Earlier in March 2026, the two were also seen together at a wedding reception in Chennai, arriving in the same car and wearing matching outfits. The rumours around their relationship grew even stronger after reports emerged that Vijay’s wife Sangeetha Sornalingam had filed for divorce.
