Meanwhile, there are reports circulating on social media suggesting that he may be considering a move into Punjab politics. Punjabi Tribune wrote an article titled ‘Can Diljit Dosanjh be the new political face of Punjab?’ In it, they report that a group of civil society activists, including retired soldiers and a retired bureaucrat named SS Boparai, publicly asked Diljit to enter politics and lead Punjab. They felt he was the right person for the job because he never chased power or asked for it.

Diljit Dosanjh is currently busy with his Aura World Tour. The tour started on April 23 in Vancouver and is moving across different cities in Canada. He performed in Calgary on April 30 and Edmonton on May 2, and recently wrapped up his Winnipeg show on May 7. He will next perform in Toronto later this month before ending the Canada leg on May 31. Apart from his ongoing tour, Diljit recently appeared again on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
