But imagine being deep in sleep, only to wake up to find a long, dangerous snake coiled on top of you. This terrifying scenario recently happened to a woman, and the footage has since gone viral on social media.

In the viral video, a woman is seen sleeping on a cot in an open area when a snake climbs onto her. The snake sits there, raising its hood. Upon realizing the snake is on her, the woman becomes frightened but wisely remains still, knowing that any sudden movement could provoke the snake to strike.

In her local language, she calls out for help. Meanwhile, the snake remains comfortably perched on her, while a nearby calf curiously observes the situation. The video was shared by an IFS officer on Twitter, who captioned it, "What would your reaction be if this happened to you?"

The IFS officer also noted that the snake eventually left the woman unharmed. The video has sparked a variety of reactions online. One user commented, "This is extremely dangerous; I would have had a heart attack!" Another user mentioned, "If I were in her place, I would pray to Lord Shiva for safety."

Another comment praised the woman's calmness, stating, "She showed great wisdom by not moving. If she had tried to push the snake away or moved, it might have bitten her." Yet another user remarked, "Believe me, snakes are often more afraid of humans than we are of them. When they feel threatened, that's when they attack. The woman didn't scare it, so it didn't harm her."
