Tom Norton created history, this happened after 120 years
Tom Norton created history by taking a hat-trick against Somerset. He has become the youngest bowler for Glamorgan to take a hat-trick on first class debut. He is the first player since 1906 to take a hat-trick on first-class debut in the County Championship. Simply put, after 120 years, such a hat-trick has been seen which was not seen before in the County Championship.
The status of the match between Glamorgan and Somerset
Talking about the County Championship match, Somerset, which scored 354 runs in its first innings, did not show the same magic in the second innings. In the second innings, Somerset lost 6 wickets for 32 runs. Meanwhile, Glamorgan's first innings ended at 229 runs. Somerset definitely got the lead in the first innings.
