New Delhi: In IPL 2026, Rajasthan Royals’ young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi is continuously surprising the cricket fans with his explosive performance. The way Vaibhav is batting fearlessly against big bowlers at a young age has made him the most talked about player of this season. Vaibhav made many big records with his explosive batting in the match played against Gujarat Titans at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday. Even though Rajasthan lost the match, Vaibhav’s innings once again proved that Indian cricket has got a new superstar.
During the run chase against Gujarat Titans, Vaibhav Suryavanshi looked aggressive from the beginning. He scored 36 runs in just 16 balls. During this match, Vaibhav Suryavanshi completed his 100 sixes in T20 cricket. The special thing was that he achieved this feat in just 29 innings, which is considered to be the fastest record till date. Not only this, Vaibhav made a new history only in terms of balls. He completed 100 T20 sixes in just 514 balls. Before this, no batsman had been able to reach this figure in so few balls. Making such records at a young age shows that Vaibhav is not just a one-season star but has the ability to rule cricket for a long time.
Made a new record in powerplay also
Vaibhav Suryavanshi has now become the batsman to hit the most sixes during the powerplay in a single season of IPL. This season, he has hit a total of 30 sixes in the first six overs. In this matter, he left Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman Abhishek Sharma behind. Abhishek had hit 29 sixes in the powerplay in the year 2024.
