On Mother’s Day 2026 Netflix India released a special video which showed the cast of their upcoming film Maa Behen who were led by Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri and Dharna Durga.
The social media clip was released as part of the platform’s Mother’s Day celebrations and offered audiences a playful look into the world of the upcoming project.
In the video, Madhuri Dixit is introduced as the “Maa,” while Tripti Dimri and Dharna Durga are referred to as her “Do Betiyaan.”
Sharing the post online Netflix captioned it: “This Maa Day get a glimpse into the world of ‘Maa Behen’.” The streaming giant also described the film as a “wild ride of twists and turns.”
Abundantia Entertainment and Opening Image Films teamed up to produce Maa Behen. The film project has Suresh Triveni as its director who previously made Tumhari Sulu and Jalsa.
Although the developers have not yet disclosed any information about the plot, the title and promotional materials suggest that the project will deliver a strange family film that contains both dramatic elements and surprise plot developments.
Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri together create an interesting combination that attracts viewers because both actors continue to appear in multiple streaming and theatrical shows.
It is confirmed that the film will have its Netflix release only, and the official release date will be made available at a later time.
