Popular television actors Raja Goswami and Madhubani Goswami , once among Bengali television ’s most loved on-screen and real-life couples, are set to reunite professionally after several years. However, this time, the duo will not be returning to television screens but stepping onto the theatre stage together.

The pair, fondly remembered by audiences as Om and Tora from the Bengali serial Bhalobasa.com, will be seen in the theatre production Kureghore Rajkanya , presented by a theatre group. The production is directed by Manjil Bandyopadhyay.

According to the production team, rehearsals for the play are scheduled to begin in August. Raja Goswami will reportedly be seen in the lead male role, while Madhubani’s inclusion has already generated excitement among viewers who had long hoped to see the duo share screen space again.

Posters of the upcoming production have already been shared on the couple’s social media pages, drawing nostalgic reactions from fans. Their performances in the Bengali serial had made them recognisable television pairs of their time, and many viewers have continued to associate them with the characters years after the show ended.

While Raja has remained active in television serials, Madhubani had largely stepped away from the entertainment industry for the past few years. Though she briefly returned to the small screen recently, the comeback was short-lived.
