Urvil Patel has been the real giant in the afternoon against the Giants on paper. In the match between Chennai Super Kings and Lucknow Super Giants on May 10 at the Chepauk, Urvil Patel went crazy. Growing up playing a lot of tennis balls, Patel rampaged the LSG bowling line so far, hitting 8 sixes and just 2 boundaries.
And soon after he got to his half century, he picked out a small piece of paper, which shows "This is for Papa" written on it.
Well, Urvil got his 50th run in the 13th ball. And with this, he became the joint fastest half-centurion in the history of the Indian Premier League. Earlier, Yashasvi Jaiswal got a 13-ball half-century in 2023 when he played for the Rajasthan Royals against the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Meanwhile, Urvil departed, scoring 65 runs in 23 balls. Shahbaz Khan ended the show with a length ball outside off stump, and Avesh Khan took an excellent catch at the deep extra cover after Urvil mistimed the shot.
