Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Limited has announced recruitment for Junior Clerk posts (HPSCB Recruitment 2026). For which the application process has started. The total number of vacancies is 91. The vacancy is divided into different categories. There are 74 vacancies for PACS quota and 17 vacancies for OCS quota. To apply, General and OBC category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1000. The application fee for EWS/SC/ST/Women candidates of Himachal Pradesh is Rs 800.
Who can apply?
To apply, it is mandatory for the candidates to be a graduate in any field from any recognized university. Apart from this, it is also necessary for them to have passed 10th and 12th from any school or institute located in Himachal Pradesh. There should also be 3-5 years of experience in the relevant field. The prescribed age limit is minimum 18 years and maximum 45 years as on 1 January 2026. Date of birth should be between 2 January 1981 to 1 January 2008. Age relaxation will also be given to reserved category candidates.
Selection Process and Salary
Candidates will be selected on the basis of online examination and document verification. Interview will not be conducted. The written exam will be held tomorrow for 150 marks. A total of 150 questions will be asked in this. The duration of the exam will also be 150 minutes. The question paper will consist of a total of five subjects – Reasoning, Numerical Ability, English, General Awareness and Himachal Pradesh Co-operative Society Act and Himachal Pradesh Co-operative Society Rules.
The number of questions in each subject will be 30. The examination will be conducted 5 to 6 weeks after the end of the application process. Admit cards will be issued 7 days in advance. The results will be declared 15 days after the end of the examination. After appointment, candidates will get a minimum salary of Rs 19,000 per month under Minimum Level-2. Apart from this, the benefit of additional allowance will also be available.
