Senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam has expressed his reaction on many important political developments in Maharashtra politics. He openly expressed his views on issues like TVK party chief Vijay becoming the chief minister in Tamil Nadu and making Marathi language mandatory for auto-taxi drivers in Maharashtra.

While talking to the media, Sanjay Nirupam made a scathing attack on Congress. He alleged that in Tamil Nadu, Congress broke its years-long alliance with DMK in one fell swoop to taste the cream of power. Congress has formed a new alliance with TVK with its five MLAs. Nirupam said that the current situation of the Congress party is that it is unable to form the government on its own. He also emphasized that Congress has been away from power in Tamil Nadu for the last fifty years and during this period the party has not done anything noteworthy so that it can form its government. According to Sanjay Nirupam, Congress is running ‘on crutches’; Earlier she was with DMK and now she has joined TVK.

Sanjay Nirupam made serious allegations in TCS case

Sanjay Nirupam made very serious allegations on the TCS case of Nashik. He said that “Muslims are targeting this country.” Nirupam claimed that ‘corporate jihad’ took place at the TCS office in Nashik, where Muslim employees sexually harassed two daughters and campaigned for their conversion. He termed this trend as “Muslims with Jihadi tendencies” and called Asaduddin Owaisi a “leader of such Jihadis”.

Taking his point further, this leader of Shinde group said that “Jihadi Muslims have decided that they have to defeat the country.” He accused AIMIM of giving protection to Nida Khan, who was caught in the TCS case. Nirupam said that when the entire country and Maharashtra Police opposed AIMIM, then Owaisi alleged that he was being targeted. However, Sanjay Nirupam clarified that “no one is targeting the nationalist Muslims of this country, but the government will deal strictly with the jihadists.”

Sanjay Nirupam’s statement on assembly election results

Sanjay Nirupam also expressed his opinion on the assembly election results. On the election results of other states including Assam and West Bengal, he said, “Instead of accepting the changing sentiments of the voters, the opposition parties blame EVM and voter list issues for their defeat, which is completely wrong.” Referring specifically to West Bengal, Nirupam said that this time the blame for the defeat has been placed on SIR. He advised the opposition and Mamata Banerjee that they should look for the real reasons for their defeat, as “today’s voter has completely changed and is electing the right government.”

Sanjay Nirupam also gave information on the issue of making Marathi language mandatory for auto and taxi drivers in Maharashtra. He said that the Maharashtra government is reconsidering a proposal in this regard, as many objections were raised regarding the possibility of the permit being canceled if the written test is failed. Referring to the initiative of Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik, Nirupam said that a simple Marathi teaching booklet has been prepared to help drivers understand and communicate in Marathi language.
