Lee said he had provided Augustine with at least HK$50,000 a month for years to support his family of five while also paying for Frances’ medical expenses and financially supporting his three grandchildren. He claimed that many requests for money were made verbally without documents.

He said he was informed of Frances’ death 10 days later, denying Augustine’s earlier claim that he had been notified within two days. He said tAugustine had asked him for more money for medical expenses before finally informing him.

“I asked him why he only told me now, and he said he was afraid I couldn’t accept it,” Lee said.

“He’s the best at lying. If he hadn’t used his mother as an excuse, why would I have given him money?” he added.

Lee also said he has little savings left and must continue working to support himself. He added that he has entrusted his financial matters to Gregory to avoid disputes after his death.

The 79-year-old actor has appeared in numerous Hong Kong films and TVB drama series as an actor and stuntman. In recent years, he co-hosted several seasons of the cooking talk show “When Grandpa Meets Maria with Maria Cordero” and starred in the TVB drama “Sinister Beings”.
