Amandaland creator Holly Walsh has offered a glimpse into what lies ahead for the BBC comedy.
The series, starring Lucy Punch, has just returned for a second run, following the debut instalment which launched last year and was praised by viewers as "perfect".
The Motherland spin-off charts Lucy's character's dramatic downfall, after relocating from her opulent London life and reign as Queen Bee amongst the school mums to becoming a single mother.
While she grapples with her own difficulties following her decline, Amanda tries to parent her cynical teenagers and sustain her relationship with her demanding mother, played by Joanna Lumley.
The BBC teased season two, sharing: "Series 2 finds Amanda still living in SoHa, and juggling teenagers, her online Senuous brand and her "co-lab" working at Kitchen's Bathrooms and Kitchens. Resigned to staying in the area, she is however thrilled by the opening of a hipster coffee shop which to her mind represents a step towards gentrification," reports the Mirror.
"By mid-series, Amanda's head has been turned by discovering a big house in the area is up for sale. Desperate to own it, she turns to her mother - only to discover that getting Felicity on board financially comes at a price.
"Her mum may seem evergreen, but is definitely starting to show signs of ageing so maybe living alone is no longer an option..."
Creator Holly has now dropped hints about the programme's future, promising "many ideas" for a third season.
She told The Daily Mail, as Amandaland scooped the Scripted Comedy Bafta award: "We are over the moon. Joanna Lumley made us all funnier and it was just incredible to watch her perform, we learned so many things from her. It's just a load of middle age women being stupid, what more could you want.
"If we could have any guest stars it would be Melania Trump, she is very much America's Amanda. Melania Narnia."
Following Amandaland's victory, Holly declared: "This award means so much, to all the people who come up to us and says 'I am an Amanda' or 'I know an Amanda!'" while also expressing her delight at mothers tuning in alongside their teenagers.
Holly's remarks regarding the show's future come as devoted fans have hailed Amandaland series two as "true British comedy".
Another wrote: "Binged it all and loved it," while a third enthused: "Amandaland is just a joy to watch. Have binged S2 and, honestly, never want it to end. Brilliant cast, great writing, proper laugh out loud comedy and (I might be a bit biased here) a simply brilliant title."
Ahead of the new series hitting screens, lead actress Lucy offered viewers a tantalising glimpse of what lies ahead, saying: "There are some fantastically funny new characters, and more hilarious storylines with the ones we already know and love."
Amandaland is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
