Sandra Bullock marked her first Mother’s Day on Instagram by honouring her late mother on the special occasion.
On Sunday, May 10, the 61-year-old actress took to Instagram to celebrate mothers everywhere and acknowledge the hard work and sacrifices they make for their children.
“To all the mamas… No matter how you came to be, Happy Mother’s Day. We are all bound by this honor of a lifetime,” Bullock captioned the heartfelt tribute.
She added, “Mom and Omi, thank you for teaching me. We miss you… Sorry I was such a brat.”
Alongside the emotional tribute, the Speed star shared a three-photo carousel featuring her late grandmother, lovingly referred to as “Omi,” as well as a nostalgic childhood photo of her late mother with Bullock and her younger sister, Gesine. Their mother died of colon cancer at the age of 58.
The final photo that drew the most attention was a rare childhood snapshot of the actress’s adopted children, Louis Bardo Bullock, 16, and Laila Bullock, 11.
