Singer-songwriter Armaan Malik marked a major milestone in his international journey as he attended his first-ever Gold House Gala as a special guest in Los Angeles . Accompanied by his wife, Aashna Shroff, the singer attended the prestigious gathering at The Music Center, joining some of the biggest global names from entertainment and culture. Reflecting on the evening, Armaan described the experience as deeply emotional and surreal. “Attending the Gold House Gala was a truly special moment for me. Representing India and Indian music on a global stage felt incredibly meaningful, and meeting John Legend was definitely one of the highlights of the evening,” he said.

The singer said being at the event carried the weight of years of dreaming and hard work. “Being at the Gold House Gala genuinely felt very unreal for me in the best way possible. When you start out as a singer, you always dream about your music reaching people and to be surrounded by so many inspiring and influential people from across the world while representing India made me feel pride, gratitude and emotion in that moment for me.”

Among the evening’s memorable encounters, meeting artists he had admired for years stood out the most. “I think what made it even more special was meeting artists I’ve looked up to for years, especially John Legend and even Priyanka Chopra Jonas being there. Just being able to have those conversations, soak in the energy of the room and witness so many people breaking boundaries creatively, was incredibly inspiring. It’s definitely a memory I’m going to hold on to for a very long time,” he said.

The gala’s theme, Modern Gold, aligned seamlessly with Armaan’s contemporary style statement for the evening. Dressed in a specially curated ensemble, the singer embraced a look inspired by the Year of the Fire Horse. “I loved wearing Falguni and Shane Peacock for the gala, especially because the horse detailing symbolised strength, ambition and forward movement for me,” he said.
