In a disturbing incident from Telangana, a son-in-law has been accused of brutally attacking his mother-in-law, leading to her death. The victim, identified as Aruna, suffered severe injuries after being struck on the head with a helmet. Despite immediate medical attention, she succumbed to her injuries during treatment. The accused, Snehit, attempted to conceal the crime by suggesting that Aruna had suffered a heart attack.
Details of the Attack
On April 29, Snehit and Aruna were riding a motorcycle when an argument broke out between them. In a fit of rage, Snehit struck Aruna on the head with a helmet, causing her to fall off the bike and sustain critical injuries. She was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately did not survive.
Cover-Up Attempt by the Accused
Following the incident, Snehit tried to mislead family members and neighbors, claiming that Aruna had a sudden seizure which caused her to fall and die. Initially, some believed his story, but police investigations soon revealed the truth.
CCTV Footage Reveals the Truth
Authorities reviewed nearby CCTV footage, which confirmed that Snehit had intentionally attacked Aruna with the helmet. This evidence indicated that the act was premeditated rather than accidental. After the truth emerged, Snehit's wife, Kavita, filed a complaint against him, leading to his arrest. The police are currently investigating all aspects of the case.
