Second Bada Mangal 2026: The month of Jyeshtha is going on. Every Tuesday falling in this month is known as Bada or Budhwa Mangal. Tuesday has been dedicated to the fasting and worship of Hanuman, the supreme devotee of Shri Ram, but the special importance of worshiping Bajrangbali on the big Tuesday has been mentioned in the Sanatan Dharma scriptures. Today is the second big Tuesday of Jyeshtha month.

According to religious beliefs, Tuesday of Jyeshtha month is related to many important events. It is said that at this time Lord Shri Ram and his great devotee Hanuman ji met for the first time. Also, on Tuesday of this month, Hanuman ji had set fire to Lanka. Every Tuesday of this month is very auspicious for worship. By worshiping and fasting as per the rituals on Tuesday of this month, one gets the special blessings of Lord Hanuman. Bada Mangal Puja Vidhi

  • On the day of Bad Mangal, wake up early in the morning and take bath and then wear clean clothes.
  • Wear red or orange colored clothes on this day.
  • After this, take a pledge to fast and light a lamp in front of Hanuman ji.
  • Then offer laddu, jaggery, gram, banana or coconut to Bajrangbali.
  • Recite Hanuman Chalisa during puja.
  • Also recite Bajrang Baan and Hanuman Ashtak.
  • At the end of the puja, perform aarti and distribute prasad.

Donate these things on Bada Mangal Daan

Donate cold sherbet after puja on Bad Mangal. Also donate food and money etc. Apart from this, feed jaggery and gram to monkeys, cows and needy people on this day. There is a religious belief that doing this increases happiness and prosperity.
