Bangladesh vs Pakistan: Premier pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi has done it again. After being caught tampering the ball during the PSL, he was at it again during the first Test in Dhaka. The senior pacer was seen deliberately tampering with the ball using the spikes of his shoes. Following that, the umpire inspected the ball and replaced it, which clearly indicates that ball tampering had taken place.
He resorted to the act when Bangladesh were piling on the lead and Pakistan were feeling the pinch. The clip has now surfaced on social space and is going viral. Here is the viral clip.

Afridi went wicketless in the first innings and has now picked up a couple of wickets. It is clear that Afridi is not getting the kind of purchase he was expecting of the strip and had to hence resort to such practices. There is no doubt the International Cricket Council has taken note of it and will act. There is no doubt that such unfair practices should be stopped and the apex cricketing body would be expected to set the precedence by punishing the cricketer.
Bangladesh in Control
There is no doubt that the hosts are in total control of proceedings in Dhaka. In Bangladesh's second innings, they are already enjoying a lead of 252 runs with three wickets in hand. They have Taijul Islam and Taskin Ahmed in the middle. Ideally, they would like to set a target of close to 300 for Pakistan to chase. For the hosts, captain Najmul Hossain Shanto has been the star. Not only did he hit a century in the first essay, he also top-scored with 87 in the second essay. Going by the current scenario, it is clear we are heading for a draw.
