Raipur. Royal Challengers Bangalore all-rounder Tim David has been fined 30 per cent of his match fee and given two demerit points for breaching Level 1 of the IPL’s code of conduct for players and team officials.
Tim was found to have breached Article 2.6 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which relates to “using any gesture that is obscene, offensive or insulting.” Tim admitted his crime and accepted the punishment given by match referee Amit Sharma.
Thanks to the brilliant performance of Bhuvneshwar Kumar (four wickets/seven runs unbeaten) and Krunal Pandya (73) in this match, RCB defeated Mumbai Indians by two wickets on the last ball in the 54th match of IPL 2026 on Sunday. With this win, RCB reached the top of the points table while Mumbai Indians were out of the race for the playoffs.
