In a disturbing incident from Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh, a young man and a minor girl were discovered dead in a room under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday. The area around Akara village, located in the Manglpur police jurisdiction, was filled with panic and shock as news of the incident spread. Initial investigations suggest that the young man allegedly murdered his minor girlfriend with a sharp weapon before taking his own life by hanging.
Reports indicate that the deceased young man was approximately 25 years old and originally from Auraiya district. He had been residing at his aunt's home in Kanpur Dehat for some time. During this period, he reportedly developed a close relationship with a minor girl living nearby, which had become a topic of discussion in the village.
On Tuesday, it is believed that a dispute arose between the two. Allegations suggest that following this argument, the young man attacked the girl with a sharp object, resulting in her death by strangulation. Subsequently, he hanged himself inside the room.
Family's Growing Concern
After both individuals failed to emerge for an extended period, their families grew suspicious. Upon entering the room, they were met with the horrifying sight of the two bodies, leading to screams and chaos within the family and the village. Villagers promptly alerted the police.
Bodies Sent for Autopsy
Upon receiving the report, the Manglpur police arrived at the scene, securing the area and initiating an investigation. The forensic team collected several crucial pieces of evidence from the site. The bodies have been sent for autopsy.
Authorities have stated that, at first glance, the case appears to be linked to a romantic relationship, but a thorough investigation is being conducted considering all possible angles. The incident has left the entire village in mourning and fear.
