Music fans are praising a pair of headphones that they say provide an 'insane' bass sound. The Skullcandy Crusher Evo Wireless Bluetooth Headphones are currently available on Amazon, and they are discounted in a limited-time deal, saving shoppers 41%.

They are currently priced at £99.99, down from £169.99, in the colour true black, and there are other colours available - bone (a type of off-white) and chill grey (a light charcoal). They feature two full-range 40mm audio drivers, plus additional dual bass drivers, meaning users' music and movies will 'come alive', the listing says.

With up to 40 hours of battery life and a rapid charge function, with 10 minutes of charging giving users four hours of listening, these are perfect for travelling or longer journeys. With the app, users can also customise their listening experience.

The headphones allow users to answer or reject calls, adjust volume, skip forward or repeat tracks with convenient button controls, too. The bundle includes the headphones, a USB-C charging cable, a backup AUX cable and a protective case.

For an alternative option, Argos has theseJBL Tune Wireless Over-Ear Headphones for £39.99. Users can enjoy up to 76 hours of battery, or five extra hours from a five-minute charge, and they feature dual mics and soft earcups.

Or for those with a higher budget, Currys has the Bose QuietComfort SC Wireless Bluetooth Noise-Cancelling Headphones for £189. These offer active noise-cancelling with quick attention mode, a battery life of up to 24 hours, and 'plush ear cushions'.

The Skullcandy Crusher Evo Wireless Bluetooth Headphones have received an overall average rating of 4.6 out of five stars from more than 6,300 reviews on Amazon. One shopper said: "These are loud and the bass is absolutely insane. There is a slider to control it, though, so your head doesn't burst open.

"The other controls are easy to use as well. They are very comfortable and of simply amazing quality. For lovers of heavy music, this is it."

A second said as part of a longer review: "Bought these for my wife to replace an older pair of these headphones. She loves the feel, fit and, of course, the sound quality with the adjustable bass. She also said that they were lighter in weight compared to her older pair, so this is another plus, and she would definitely recommend these headphones to anyone."

A third wrote: "Excellent sound with the adjustable Bass. Comfortable wearing. I have been a Skullcandy fan for a long time."

Others left feedback, with one saying: "Probably one of the best sounding cordless headphones around for an absolute bargain when in the sales, complements music and action movies brilliantly. The subwoofer-type bass it delivers is sublime.

"Four stars only because it can be a bit complex to connect for the first time to any of your devices, but after that, it will connect seamlessly. A long-life battery that will give you at least 40 hours of use.

Another added: "As long as you get the audio settings right on your phone and Spotify, these are incredible. Great price too. Very easy to connect to. Bass settings need to be correct, they rattle your ears. Love them. Love that you can adjust the bass easily to each song."
