After putting 168 runs on the board, the Gujarat Titans opener Sai Sudharsan was not absolutely confident that the Gujarat Titans would win the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad or lose it. However, the bowlers kept their words. The Rabada-Holder duo, accompanied by Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna, did not let the SRH batters settle.
Rashid Khan took the final wicket of Praful Hinge, as SRH got bowled out for 86 runs in the 15th over. On May 12, GT defeats SRH by 82 runs in Ahmedabad.
Notably, this is the lowest score ever made by Sunrisers Hyderabad in the history of the Indian Premier League. Often known for their heavy batting, 113 was the lowest score Pat Cummins' SRH scored, and that too in 2024 against Kolkata Knight Riders, that too in the IPL final. Apart from that, 96 had been the side's lowest score they made in 2019 against the Mumbai Indians. Today with 86 runs on board, they broke the record.
