LizLaz has said that she was even offered a hefty sum to speak negatively about ViratKohli. She said that some publications wanted her to tarnish the cricketer's image but she declined. "Some journalists even offered me money to say bad things about him (Virat Kohli) and make allegations he never made. But why would I do that?" she told FilmyMantra.

"I was very happy and a little emotional about it, but I never expected something like this to happen," she said. LizLazfurther added, "Some people even pressure you to say things you don't want to say. So why would I say bad things about him for money? I'm not that kind of person," she concluded.

LizLaz also reacted to the AI images of her and Virat Kohli that surfaced. She spoke about how she loved the attention but didn't expect it to turn into such a big controversy. She also added that she found humour in the images but urged everyone not to use AI to harm someone's reputation.
