Heavy rain and dust storm warning has been issued in several districts of Madhya Pradesh. The weather is likely to remain unsettled in some parts including Bhopal, Indore, Katni and Balaghat. While the temperature is rising in Rajasthan, there are chances of 40 to 50 km per hour winds and light rain in some parts.

Heavy rains and gale force winds have also been warned in Assam, Meghalaya and surrounding areas in Northeast India. Locally heavy rains may occur in some areas, leading to flood-like conditions.

Weather conditions are forecast to remain active in many districts of Tamil Nadu for the next four days. Heavy rain warning has been issued for Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tiruppur and Thanjavur districts. Heavy rain with thundershower is likely over coastal areas and heavy rain may occur in some districts on May 15 and 16.

According to meteorologists, the combination of western disturbance and humid winds is creating this unstable weather. Due to this, rains with gale force winds have been reported in North India and the intensity of rains is increasing in the southern states.
