The Android Show By Google: Tech company Google will be hosting an event next week. The company’s Google I/O event will be held on May 19 and 20. But before this event, the company had organized ‘The Android Show: I/O Edition’ on Tuesday. The company organized this virtual event to share updates and features coming to its operating system. This event is a part of the upcoming Google I/O event. At the event held on Tuesday, the company revealed some of the features that will be rolled out for Android.

Quick Share AirDrop interoperability support

Many of the announcements made at the Android Show held earlier were due to the advanced development cycle of Google’s operating system. For users who haven’t installed the beta version yet, all these features are new. One of the most unique and attractive features is the Quick Share AirDrop interoperability support. This new feature makes Quick Share compatible with AirDrop. This allows users to instantly share files from Android devices to iPhone. This feature will be rolled out with the Google Pixel 10 series. In the future, select Samsung, Oppo, OnePlus, Vivo, Xiaomi and Honor models will get a chance to experience this feature. Also, users who don’t have a compatible device will now be able to generate a QR code using Quick Share on any Android device. Chrome Browser Gemini Features

The company is planning to introduce some new AI features for Chrome next month. Several new Gemini features were released for the Chrome browser earlier this year. These features are now being integrated into the mobile app. With Gemini 3.1, users will soon be able to ask chatbots questions about webpages. One will be able to summarize large articles and easily understand difficult topics without switching apps.

It also has agent capabilities, allowing you to add events to your calendar, save a recipe in Keep, and search for specific information in Gmail. So with Nano Banana you will be able to create images of your choice. You can also customize the photo. Google is also preparing to introduce Auto Browse, an AI agent. This AI agent will be able to perform many tasks like shopping, form filling and booking by itself using websites.

New features in Android Auto

Android Auto is also getting ready to add some new features. The system is being redesigned once again for ‘edge-to-edge’ Google Maps on the Google Dashboard and the ‘Material 3 Expressive’ design language in the car. This means that the car system will see better fonts, smoother animations and new wallpapers.

Google Maps will bring a stunning 3D view, showing buildings, overpasses and bumpy roads.
