PM Modi came out in a convoy of only two vehicles, after appealing to save petrol and diesel, he himself became an example.

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal regarding saving petrol and diesel has now become a big topic of discussion. The special thing is that after making the appeal, he himself started it at his own level. On Wednesday, PM Modi reached the Union Cabinet meeting with a very small convoy. There were only two vehicles with him. The Prime Minister was present in one vehicle, while the SPG personnel deployed for his security were in the other vehicle.

In fact, during a recent program organized in Hyderabad, PM Modi had appealed to the people to save fuel. He had said that the country should use petrol and diesel wisely in the current circumstances. Along with this, he also advised to postpone the purchase of gold for one year.

After this appeal of the Prime Minister, the effect has been seen in many states also. Many leaders, including Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, have taken decisions like reducing their government convoys and conducting some meetings online.

On the other hand, speculation regarding petrol and diesel has also intensified. There is a discussion among the people that fuel prices may increase in the coming time. These discussions gained further strength when Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that oil companies are facing a loss of Rs 1,000 crore every day due to rising crude oil prices and it will not be easy to maintain the current situation for a long time.
