Tech Giants Sam Altman – Elon Musk : Amidst the ongoing dispute between tech giant Sam Altman and Elon Musk, new revelations are being made every day after allegations and counter-allegations in the lawsuit filed by Elon Musk against OpenAI. Artificial Intelligence (AI) company Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sam Altman, who came to testify in his defense, has made serious allegations against the Tesla chief.

He said that Musk had tried to take control of the company. Not only this, he suggested handing over the company to his children after his death. Sam Altman reportedly told the court that Elon Musk once wanted permanent control over OpenAI, and even suggested that this control could be handed to his children. This testimony is at the heart of the ongoing controversy over OpenAI’s mission, its operations, and subsequent changes in its business structure.

Altman was asked what he thought about Musk’s accusation that OpenAI’s other founders stole money from a charity by starting a for-profit subsidiary to sell AI models.
To this he said, “It is difficult for me to understand this kind of thing. We have established one of the largest charity organizations in the world. This organization is doing incredible work and will do much more in the future.”

Altman’s appearance was one of the most talked about testimony in the three-week trial. This testimony is important because Musk has accused OpenAI in his lawsuit of becoming overly commercial and too close to Microsoft. However, Altman’s statements attempt to prove that Musk himself once wanted to exert considerable personal influence over the organization before leaving the company in 2018.
