Victor Wembanyama delivered another dominant playoff performance as the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 126-97 to take a 3-2 lead in their Western Conference semi-final series.
Returning after avoiding suspension, Wembanyama scored 27 points along with 17 rebounds, five assists and three blocks in a commanding all-round display. San Antonio raced into an early lead behind Wembanyama’s explosive first quarter and never fully lost control despite a brief Minnesota comeback in the third.
Keldon Johnson added 21 points, while De’Aaron Fox contributed 18. Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 20 points as the series heads to Minneapolis for Game 6.
