A bunch of restrictions on Indian tourists? Under pressure, Nepal made a statement

The Nepal government has speculated about new restrictions on Indian tourists visiting Nepal. The neighboring country has decided to reduce the number of Indian tourists. That is why strict restrictions have been imposed on them. However, the concerned ministry of Prime Minister Balendra Shah and the Nepal Tourism Board termed the news as ‘baseless’ on Wednesday.

The Nepal Tourism Board said in a statement that the board is deeply concerned about the misleading and incorrect information being circulated in various media and online platforms regarding the travel regulations for Indian visitors to Nepal. The historical ties, cultural ties and tourism cooperation between the people of the two countries remain unchanged. As mentioned, the new online registration system has made travel more convenient for Indian tourists and international visitors entering Nepal by land in private vehicles. From now on online payment of vehicle toll will be possible as well as ticketing.

Incidentally, in the last month of April, several new rules came to the fore for the entry of Indians into Nepal. The first thing you need to do is register your vehicle at the border. Must carry valid permit. Indian vehicles cannot be kept on the roads of Nepal for more than 30 days in a year. Must be charged daily. If there is a slight mistake, the administration will confiscate the car. Even breaking the rules can result in your beloved car being lost forever. News is spreading that the Nepal government has announced that customs duty will have to be paid on purchases of more than 100 Nepalese currency (about 62 rupees in Indian currency). Depending on the type of product, the duty can be anywhere from 5 to 80 percent.
