Leading that mindset once again is Anthony Edwards who maintained a surprisingly calm attitude even with the season hanging by a thread.
The San Antonio Spurs also dominated Game 5 with a decisive 126-97 win, taking a 3-2 series lead. Once again, the Texas squad controlled the pace from start to finish, winning all four quarters.
Over their last two home games, San Antonio has posted a combined +67 point differential a clear sign of how much home court has mattered.
Wembanyama remains an unsolved puzzle
A lot of attention remained on Victor Wembanyama who stayed at the center of discussion after his Game 4 altercation with Naz Reid. The NBA chose not to suspend him, ruling that the ejection he already served was sufficient punishment.

Despite dealing with some knee issues, Edwards has handled a heavy workload: more than 39 to 41 minutes in each of the last three games. Still, the fatigue showed during the most intense stretches.
