Material

for the base

  • 15 to 18 digestive biscuits
  • 4 to 5 tablespoons of melted butter

For the filling

  • 2 cups cream cheese
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour

  • First crush the biscuits and mix it with melted butter.
  • Press the mixture into the cake tin to set and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  • Add fresh cream, egg, vanilla essence and cornflour to it and make a smooth mixture.
  • Pour this mixture over the prepared base and gently tap to remove air bubbles.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees Celsius for about 45 to 50 minutes.
  • After the cake cools completely, put it in the fridge for a few hours and then cut and serve.
