Lavrov described the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant in Tamil Nadu as a shining example of cooperation between the two countries. He informed that the first unit of this plant has been working at full capacity since 2016 and work on additional reactor units is going on at a fast pace.

Explaining the depth of India-Russia relations, Lavrov said that this relationship is not limited to just a label, but rests on strong pillars of energy, defence, trade and political trust.
