The party says that after discussions with all the concerned leaders, a final consensus has been reached on a name, which will be officially announced tomorrow.

Let us tell you that in the race for Kerala Chief Minister, the name of KC Venugopal is being discussed the most. After this, the names of Ramesh Chennithala and VD Satheesan are discussed. Rahul Gandhi has talked one-to-one to eight former presidents like VM Sudheeran, MM Hasan and K Sudhakaran to know their opinion on these names. Discussion was held with Mullappally Ramachandran over phone.

Let us tell you that in the 140-seat Kerala Assembly, UDF has achieved two-third majority by winning 102 seats. In this, Congress has 63 seats, Muslim League has 22, Kerala Congress has eight and RSP has three seats.
